Sailing the Michigan Shore Sun 8/28 - 8/31

There's a great opportunity to get out of the Chicago Harbors and into the pristine waters of the Southwest shores of Michigan aboard Leela. A little mini-vaca!

Leela sails on Saturday 8/27 and will be in New Buffalo as part of a dock swap event. The boat is full for the adventure across the lake and the night of 8/27....BUT....

There are spaces for joining us Sunday thru Wednesday as we sail up the coast from New Buffalo. Here's the details:

South Haven Beach and Pier

Take the train or get a ride to New Buffalo

Sail Plan:

• Leave NB Sunday around 11 am

• Sail to St. Joe/Benton Harbor and spend the night

• Leave SJ Monday around 10 am

• Sail to South Haven and spend the night

• Leave SH Tuesday around 4 pm

• Sail to St. Joe and spend the night

• Leave SJ around 7 am

• Sail back to Chicago

There is no charge however you must pitch in and bring/make breakfast/lunches (dinner ashore). And of course it's all BYOB. You will pitch in for slip fees and fuel total estimated to be about $50 a person for the 4 days.
