2014

• First mate for Two Brothers Sailing Chicago charter company

• Captained 40’ Sailboat; South of France (St. Tropez area)

2015

• Attended US Maritime Academy Chicago

• Received USCG 50 Ton Master, OUPV 6-pack license; sailing endorsement and towing endorsement

• Became a charter captain; dozens of sails annually for Two Brothers Sailing Chicago

• Captained 40’ Sailboat; British Virgin Islands

• Received Safety at Sea course certification – 1 day course

2018

• Purchased Sea Biscuit a 14’ Rigid Bottom Inflatable Power Boat

• Received US Sailing Instructor Certification

• Person in Charge on Lighten Up for Race to Mackinaw Cruising Class

• Received Safety at Sea course certification – 2 day course

2019

• Co-developed The Preservation Pirates concept for organizing citizen-based harbor clean up and started cleaning up!  

• Purchased Leela; 30’ Catalina Training Boat – truly a gift straight from spirit

• Tested the waters for the concept of The Joy of Sailing / Women’s Sailing with a Spiritual Twist

  • Over 130 Women joined the Meet Up group

  • Did a about a dozen women only casual sails

  • Conducted two beginning sailing classes

2020

• Answering the call to go full time with The Joy of Sailing

• Website launches March 2020

• Kicking off The Joy of Sailing Global Adventures a program that organizes one week+ sailing adventures in the British Virgin Islands, Croatia, and other global destinations during the winter season
