Leela is in the Water!

Phew! On Saturday Leela was splashed, albeit without her mast. Her electronics are still being installed and all that has to be run through the mast so best for them to do it while it's down. I worked up there all day. Here's a few notes:

  1. She is shiny white on deck that's for sure!

  2. I can confirm that the new onboard battery charger is working like a champ!

  3. Her new lifeline gate is on and now it puts to shame all the others, hahaha

  4. She's organized enough to bring her down but definitely needs a spring cleaning. That will be easy to do once she's in Montrose Harbor.

  5. All of her wood is still off. I'm waiting for some special varnish to arrive so she

will no doubt make the trip down "naked"

I purchased this instrument pod...hope it works, hope we like it!

Tomorrow I will blog again about the schedule for bringing her down. I have to say that the weather is a real b*tch right now -- it's all S, SSE, SE wind direction with 9-12 knot winds which makes it a motor ride and very hard on Leela's engine. But more on that tomorrow.

Love you all!
